Sunday, April 30, 2006 i had my very first experience of an arnis tournament kanina. grabe enjoy!
dati kasi i had several opportunities to join tournaments, kaya lang sunday siya lagi, e priority ko ang church, so yun. e i figured na i won't gain experience by skipping all tourneys since its a sunday, so i decided to join kanina. ang saya! i didn't win anything, pero astig! i learned a lot on how other people play, in what areas am i lacking in training, etc. more on self discovery sa arnis ang nangyari sa akin kanina hehe. i lack endurance, a bit of footwork, and i need to improve on striking techniques. this motivated me more to train harder, so the next time, maybe with god's strength, i can bag a bronze or better ^_^ ang laki ng kalaban ko kanina, much larger than me. ang bigat ko kasi, so ang mga ka-weight division ko ay malalaki, hehe. anyway, yung nakalaban ko, he won the gold medal in our division, so astig ang galing nya! hehe. anyway, next time babawi ako! diba?! hehehe... macky
